What to expect
Womxn in Business Society is excited to welcome Gemma McKnight, newly appointed CEO of Bournemouth Blind Society, for an interactive workshop focused on recognising your worth and the skills you already bring to the table.
Gemma will begin by sharing her career journey, experiences and advice for women starting out, alongside her experience in academia and building a career beyond university.
Then, it’s your turn. Throughout the workshop, you’ll reflect on the skills and experiences you already have, explore why they matter, and learn how to recognise and communicate the value you can bring across different roles, industries and opportunities.
Whether you’re just starting university, preparing for your career or figuring out your next step, this session is about understanding what you already have to offer and learning how to own it.
